Pre and post-natal pilates

Exercise in pregnancy can have multiple benefits for expectant mothers. Pilates is low impact and in pregnancy, encourages you to gently move the body. Pilates can help you to support your body's changing shape; helping to ease back pain, improve posture, alleviate swelling and other niggles that come along with pregnancy. It can also help to connect with and strengthen those all important pelvic floor muscles.

Alex can work with you once you've had your baby to help you reconnect with your body and core muscles at a pace that works for you, in the comfort of your own home.

Why not form a regular class with your NCT group. Alex can come to you for mum and baby classes, helping you strengthen, feel great and take some time for yourself.

Alex will work to develop a programme to suit you, using props and body-weight resistance.
